Beautiful compact knife that's very nicely finished. The micarta handle is one of the most comfortable handles I own and allows for a variety of grips. The fact that it's in one of the hottest knife steels of the moment is the cherry on top. The sheath is beautiful as well. Ilike some other reviews mention the snap is very tight at first, but that loosens up after a few days as the leather slowly stretches a bit. The only downsides I found is that the edge could be a bit thinner, I find it a bit heavy for it's size (they could have reduced the stock thickness a fraction, especially given the MagnaCut), and maybe half a cm of extra blade length would have been nice (the relatively compact blade means you have great control over it though). The end of one of the threads came undone on the sheath, but it's the bit they tucked away after the final stitch, so I will simply cut it off (and melt the endpoint) myself. For me, this is the perfect smallish knife to bring on a good hike in the forest or to take on a camping trip (maybe in companion with a folding saw or an axe). I find it ideal for when you don't necessarily need a huge knife (let's be honest, how often do you really need that while hiking?), but still enjoy taking a nice fixed blade with you regardless. And if you need it to, it's absolutely capable of hard work thanks to the very ergonomic handle and the super robust blade. The quality is definitely there, it looks and feels very premium This will be my companion on many adventures to come.
